If only I would find...
If only I would find the hollow tree that exists in my mind,
where I could shut out the world by the darkness of my eyes.
Where the wind is always present, but never cold,
and touches my cheek as soft as your kisses.
I would feel the curls at the back of my neck,
and the heat of the sun would send small drops of sweat gliding down my body.
Where dandelions lose their seeds to endless fields of grass,
and my voice would carry songs for no one to hear.
Where I would feel joy in the pit of my stomach,
radiating through my body and connecting to the sky.
Where one could just lie down and dream,
wasting time that did not exist.
If only I would find that hollowed out tree,
the worries is in my mind would finally be set free.
